Nick, I'm an idiot. This Widget did have a ticker associated with it, and per your info above I'm guessing that is why it did't show. Today I messed around with it and it stopped showing real-time movement again. I deleted the AppData files again and still not movement.
So RECAP - Deleting files in the AppData folder has NOTHING to do with it. It was the PICNIC error (person in chair not in computer). Hoping this helps someone else as I totally overlooked it.
