Introducing Live Timing: open beta We are excited to announce the open beta of our new product: Appgineering Live Timing. With Live Timing, you can stream the live race standings to the web for other people to view and follow during your broadcast. The new Live Timing product is a fully cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution hosted by us, meaning you no longer need to host it yourself as you did with our previous web timing solution. This new service will eventually replace the old self-hostable web timing, which will be phased out from ATVO in the near future. Our goal with Live Timing was to eliminate the hassle of hosting, so you can easily provide reliable live timing for your productions. We invite you to participate in this open beta and share your feedback with us.
For now, the Live Timing is limited to the race standings, but we will soon introduce more features including the events list, track map and spotter guide.
In the spirit of transparency, we’d also like to share some details about the product’s future monetization. During the open beta, you’re welcome to use the new Live Timing free of charge. However, once we transition out of beta, we’ll continue to enhance the Live Timing service, which, along with the costs of hosting, will necessitate a monthly fee. We are committed to keeping this fee as low as possible and may offer special rates for our ATVO Theme 2023 Pro users. Rest assured, if you choose not to use the new Live Timing, you will not incur any additional costs related to ATVO.
Fixed a potential crash in the Championship debug window.
Theme Editor updates:
Storyboards now support a custom Update Interval, which is the time interval (or resolution) after which they check if new items are ready to play. This could improve your flow if you have many items playing in fast intervals (around 100's of ms).
Fixed a bug where the built-in Fallback converter would not always work.
