Replays - How do they work?

Hello, I've got a few questions about replays. I'm struggling to fully understand how they work.

Instant Replays - that's easy and they do everything I expect them to. That's good

Rewinds in the Sessions Events tab - that is the issue.

When I double click the event, for example, an accident, it seems like I need to wait for 30-40 seconds, or even a full lap before the accident occurs? No matter what I have set on the Camera Controls. For example, Pit Stops event, it's like one full lap behind the moment it happens.

I know I can choose Rewind Exact or with Margin but it's working exactly the same? Had a race at old Silverstone yesterday, and it was always sending me back at to the beginning of the previous lap?

When I try to open a session event, it keeps changing the camera to a completely different driver than the one in question.

I know replays are the strong part of iRacing, but I'm lost in how to work with them. Can anyone help, please? I'd expect, when I click at the event, for the replay to show the accident in like 5-10 seconds, not to have a full lap behind?

Thanks.

It sounds like there may be a bug in the replay logic, I will check it out.

I found an issue with certain events (off-tracks and pitstops) referencing the start of the lap rather than the actual time of the event. In the next update this should be fixed.

I cannot reproduce the replay jumping to another driver though, it always jumps to the driver listed in the table as designed. Is there a specific event that doesn't work for you?

Just trying it right now during the race. I'm watching a driver A, and select an Incident from Session Events of Driver B.. double click on it, it goes to replay and it switches a completely different Driver C. Even if I switch that driver in particular in Camera Controls menu, it sometimes goes to a completely different driver.

I tried OffTrack, Incident, different drivers, different laps, different came controls settings. But I've noticed that it seems to switch to one particular driver during that race. Like it had a favourite driver to switch to? But if I'm in replay already and double click on the event again, it switches to a correct driver.

I'm having the same Problem.

Btw. in my Session Events tab, only off tracks, pit stops... are displayed, never seen a car contact, or loss of control until now. Maybe i've missed something in the settings

We do not generally get enough information about 2x or 4x of other drivers. If you are an admin in the server then you do get some more incident information in which case we do try to track everyone's incidents, but I am not sure if that made it to the events list yet.

So in general, every streamer should be an admin to get as much information as possible?
