I'm just starting to build some themes in ATVO and thid is such a great tool
My question at the moment is that I'm currently building all of my graphic elements in Photoshop and then exporting them as .png and importing those into the theme editor
For example, I have a small bar that acts as the background for a ticker widget that I use for a top 10 interval board.
As I'm tweaking along the way, I'm finding I need to update the original PS file to export a new .png. (for example I change a color or dimension)
However, it appears that I have to import it with a unique name and point the background of my ticket widget to the newly imported file.
This means the older unused image is still in my file list that I need to manually delete, and I think I had other issues if I had controls looking for an image that I deleted before updating all the calls for the control.
Is there a way to replace an image but have everything about it remain intact, for example for all widgets that use the image to automatically update to the new one?
That would save me a lot of time while in the process of building a new theme.
When you import an image it gets copied to the Content/Images folder. If you change that image there (in your theme folder) and then close/re-open the theme it should update.
